As Summer fades to Fall the temperatures begin to drop dramatically, causing most people to turn on their furnaces for the first time in months. Unfortunately, some will find that their furnaces do not fire up or don’t seem to be working as they should. It is a good idea to have a local heating and cooling company come take a look and perform any routine maintenance that may be needed on your furnace.
Newer homes typically have heat pumps installed which offer efficiency and provide heating and air condition which helps keep the home comfortable year round. Ductless heat pumps can be installed in older homes that may not have existing ducting and no space to install new ducting.
No matter where you live in the country it is a good idea to have your existing furnace or heating system inspected before the really cold weather shows up! Take a few moments and inspect your heating system and if you think there may be any problems, be sure to contact a reputable HVAC contractor to come take a look.
